Meet Our New Team Member, Luiza!

Over the last few months we’ve been working hard, creating new plans to expand our team and bring new faces to the table at Ancora Law.

This month, we’re pleased to introduce Luiza Szczepanska, who will be joining our growing team.

Her official title is ‘Legal Administrator and Business Development Assistant’, which means she will be helping us with both administration and case management with clients, whilst also looking at how we can continue to develop our business over time.

We decided to ask Luiza a few questions to help you get to know her – we’re sure you will be as impressed with her background as we are, so here goes…

Why did you apply for the role at Ancora Law?

I applied for the role at Ancora Law because I have an interest in Commercial Law and I’m technologically-minded. For this reason, I thought it was a brilliant opportunity to work in an innovative, up and coming firm, which relies heavily on technology and agile working in their day to day tasks.

What are your career goals and aspirations?

My ultimate career goal is to become a Solicitor. I plan on undertaking the Legal Practice Course part-time while working.

How did you become interested in law? What inspired you?

I chose Law as a subject to study at A-Level which I thoroughly enjoyed. What stood out to me about Law was the fact that you can argue different sides of an argument for one case, there’s multiple perspectives to consider which is very interesting to me.

I believe that I have good analysis skills which tends to suit this kind of career. I also knew that I wanted a career in which I could help people in some way, so I thought being a helping hand through the legal process would be a good choice for me.

What has your journey looked like so far?

I graduated in 2019 with an LLB in Law from the University of Hull. Since then, I have undertaken several legal internships to broaden my skillset and gain experience before taking on my LPC.

During this time, I also wrote an article about diversity in the legal sector which gained some nice feedback in the industry.

Do you have any interesting hobbies outside of work?

My hobbies include photography, writing and staying active by going on walking trails and cycling.

I also like learning new languages, and I speak Polish fluently.
